One of the oldest baseball towns in America, Washington was home to baseball. The saying went First In War, First In Peace, Last In The American League. While noted as lovable losers, D.C.'s team featured some of the greatest players of all time including Walter Johnson and Harmon Killebrew. Then for 33 long years, Washington went without baseball after the Senators left for Texas. Now, baseball is finally back to the nation's capitol.
