Sonia Uribe Biography

Sonia Uribe was born in Bogota, Colombia and raised in Texas, USA. She attended the University of the Incarnate Word and received a Bachelor in Communication Arts degree in Journalism. She then went on to study a Masters in TV Journalism at the University of London.

From an early age, Uribe has been involved in modeling, appearing in a number of leading publications, including Alo, Cromos and Vanidades.

As an actress, Uribe appeared in a number of Colombian soap operas. Her first break into entertainment reporting began with the CBS Affiliate Morning show in the USA, alongside former Miss USA Frances Louise Lu Parker.
