Poppy Montgomery Biography

Poppy Montgomery was first seen in a starring role in the feature film "Dead Man on Campus." Her feature film credits also include "The Other Sister," "Life," "American Untitled," "The Cold Equations" and "Devil in a Blue Dress."

Her television credits include the CBS mini-series "Blonde," in which she played Marilyn Monroe, and the movie "Jake Lassiter." She was a series regular in "Relativity" and "The Beat," and guest-starred in "Party of Five" and "NYPD Blue."

Montgomery (whose middle name is Petal) and her four sisters are all named after flowers: Rosie Thorn, Daisy Yellow, Lily Belle and Marigold Sun.

Born in Sydney, Australia, Montgomery lives in Los Angeles. Her birth date is June 19.
