French worked for the Assets Modeling Agency. She represented Sony Ericsson and Suzuki, and made numerous television appearances on shows such as including RTE's Celebrities Go Wild and The Podge and Rodge Show. She also recently appeared on Tubridy Tonight.
Katy died on the evening of the 6th of December 2007 in Our Lady's Hospital, Navan in Meath[3], having collapsed at a friend's house some days earlier.
