In 1936, Joe DiMaggio made his debut with the
New York Yankees and quickly became the best centerfielder in baseball. DiMaggio, known as Joltin' Joe and The Yankee Clipper, transcended the sport and became a pop culture legend. His 56-game hitting streak in 1941 is widely considered the most unbreakable record in sports. His Yankee teams won World Series in 1936, 1937, 1938, 1939, 1941, 1947, 1949, 1950 and 1951. He missed the 1943, 1944 and 1945 seasons to service in World War II. He was elected to the Hall Of Fame in 1955.
At nine-years old, C.J. George is already a writer, a poet and a cancer patient. He has a rare and aggressive cancer known as acute lymphoblastic lymphoma, but there is one person at Joe DiMaggio's Children's Hospital in Broward who makes him forget all this.

Marilyn Monroe from January 14, 1954 to October 27, 1954. The relationship is said to have ended early because Joe wanted Marilyn to be a traditional housewife and let go of her film career.
