Jessica Lucas was born and raised in Vancouver , British Columbia having been acting since she was only seven years old. Her father is Haitian and French Canadian and her mother is Pakistani.[citation needed] Beginning her professional training with Children's Theatre Arts. She earned theatre credits in local productions of "Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs," "Grease," "Cinderella," "Mousetrap" and "Music Medley."

She was also a series regular on the popular Canadian teen show Edgemont, along with Kristin Kreuk.

Jessica joined the cast of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in its 2007 season, playing a new character, Ronnie Lake. The character, once a temporary "band aid" to replace Sara Sidle has been announced as a permanent replacement on the show. She also plays a major role in the movie Cloverfield, which releases in January, 2008.

Lucas currently resides in Vancouver, enjoys playing softball and is proud to be an accomplished singer and dancer.
