Emily is the younger sister of Haley Joel Osment, and daughter of Eugene Osment and Theresa Seifert Osment. She also has a younger sister, named Vanessa Osment.

In addition to performing as Gerti Giggles in the films Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams (2002) and Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over (2003), Emily has made appearances on television shows such as Touched by an Angel, Friends, and 3rd Rock from the Sun.
